In contrast to many commercially available candles that use synthetic fragrances, we use real essential vanilla oil. This means that our candles exude the pure, natural scent of the plant and not an artificially produced imitation.

Handmade from nature's best ingredients

We only use purely natural ingredients for our Abendgold scented candle in a jar. We refine vegetable waxes from soy and rapeseed with our fragrance compositions made from 100% pure natural essential oils. These carefully extracted oils contain the pure power of nature. The beneficial aromatherapy effect of plants can be found at scented candle .

We pour our scented candles into our self-designed candle jars with recycled glass. We protect and complete them with a wooden lid. We pack the candle in the jar exclusively in paper and cardboard. Because sustainability is very important to us. We know we are not perfect. But we try to become a little more sustainable every day.

How is vanilla essential oil extracted?

Our vanilla oil is extracted directly from the vanilla pod (vanilla planifolia). Find out more about vanilla essential oil here.
Are there vanilla scented candles in different sizes?

Yes, we currently offer two different sizes of scented candles. Both come in a glass jar with a wooden lid. Both candles have a long burning time due to their high-quality, natural ingredients. The scented candle large (250 g) burns for approx. 55 hours and the smaller version (75 g) of the candle also burns for approx. 25 hours.
In which rooms is it best to use your scented candle with vanilla?

We recommend scented candle as a room fragrance for the living room or bedroom. Use it wherever you want to create a place of well-being. We also use the fragrance for a relaxing bath. It is best to light the candle around 30 minutes before your bath or bedtime ritual. This allows a pool of wax to form and the pleasant fragrance to develop.
Why did you add other essential oils to the vanilla fragrance?

We rely on the synergy effect: the combination of different essential oils not only makes the fragrance even more harmonious and rounded - we also enhance the aromatherapeutic effect of the fragrance. As here, for example, in our fragrance composition Abendgold. For easier orientation, we have introduced our guidance system and categorized our fragrances into the aromatherapy categories of relaxation, grounding, balance, energy and Joy energy.
Are your vanilla scented candles available all year round?

We have sorted our fragrances according to the seasons. The enveloping scent of vanilla creates a cozy feeling, especially in the dark and cold season. That's why our fragrance Abendgold is only available in the fall and winter season from September to February.
Are your scented candles vegan? Which wax do you use?

Yes, our candles are vegan and, of course, cruelty-free. They are made from GMO-free rapeseed and soy wax. As a matter of principle, we have never used kerosene (petroleum product) or palm wax (deforestation of palm trees).
Can I refill the scented candle in the glass?

Yes, our Looops candle jars in the new design can be refilled. We have developed our refill candles especially for this purpose, which fit seamlessly into the cleaned jar. Simply choose your favorite fragrance and save yourself and the environment.
Is there an ideal burning time?

Always leave your 250g scented candle to burn for at least two hours, but no longer than four hours. It burns more beautifully and exudes its fragrance evenly over the entire burning time.

You should pay attention to this when lighting the candle for the first time: Leave the candle to burn until the entire surface is liquid (2 to 4 hours depending on the size). This allows it to burn evenly without a wax tunnel forming. You can find more tips on candle care here.
Just blow it out? Better not

To extinguish the candle, dip the wick briefly into the liquid wax. Then straighten the wick again and move it to the center. This prevents smoke and the fragrance lingers longer - for a cozy atmosphere in your home.
