Why a natural scented candle increases your well-being

With their pure natural essential oils, our scent creations have a beneficial aromatherapy effect. You can consciously use our products to promote the well-being of body and mind. In order for our fragrance compositions to develop their full effect, we combine - finely tuned - various naturally pure essential oils.

The relaxing Mußezeit scent exudes the calming aroma of lavender. Sonnenstund uses the invigorating effect of bergamot and lemon to lift your mood. Spicy notes such as cinnamon and clove (e.g. Abendgold or Sternenzelt) warm you up in the cold season - and are a popular gift idea. How to ensure a long candle life

Our high-quality scented candles have a longer burning time compared to kerosene candles: the large candles and refills burn for about 55 hours, the small candles for about 25 hours.

Follow these tips to make sure you enjoy your candle for a long time: Give your candle time when lighting it for the first time and let it burn until the entire surface is liquid. This will prevent a wax tunnel around the wick.
Always leave the large scented candle in the jar to burn for at least two hours, but no longer than four hours. The small scented candle for at least one hour and a maximum of three. The candle burns more beautifully and exudes its fragrance evenly over the entire burning time.
Shorten the cotton wick to approx. 5 millimetres before each lighting. This keeps the flame at the optimum size.

Natural scented candles are made from natural wax. Their fragrance comes from 100% pure natural essential oils. They are better for the environment and health than scented candles made from kerosene and palm oil and scented candles with artificial fragrances. Pay attention to the ingredients when buying: Prefer vegetable wax. Make sure that the fragrance comes from 100% natural essential oils.

Are your scented candles vegan?

Yes, our candles are vegan and cruelty-free. They are made from non-GMO rapeseed and soy wax. We do not use paraffin – a petroleum product, or palm wax – which contributes to palm tree deforestation.

Do you work sustainably?

Yes, because we care about the environment. Renewable raw materials, sustainable purchasing, short transportation routes and environmentally friendly processes are more than just rooted in our Salzburg fragrance manufactory.

How long do the candles burn?

The large candles and refills burn for approx. 55 hours, the small candles for approx. 25 hours. Thanks to the high quality of the wax, they burn longer than kerosene wax.

How long should I leave the scented candles burning at a time?

Always leave the large scented candle to burn for at least three hours and the small one for at least two hours. If you give your candle this time, the entire surface of the candle will become liquid and you will prevent a wax tunnel from forming around the wick. This allows the candle to burn evenly every time it is lit and give off its soothing fragrance.

Can I refill the scented candle in the glass?

Yes, our smoky brown Looops candle jars in the new design can be refilled. We have developed our refill candles especially for this purpose, which fit seamlessly into the cleaned jar. Simply select your preferred fragrance to go easier on the environment – and your wallet.
