Ingredients

Plant-based wax

We use the finest natural waxes for our scented candles – such as soy wax and rapeseed wax. This combination guarantees candles burn optimally and can best unfold their fragrances. For both our benefit, and that of the environment, we consciously avoid the use of common petroleum-based raw ingredients in our candles.

100 % pure natural essential oils

Orange, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon, clove, aniseed, fennel, mandarin

Nature is the inspiration and supplier of our fragrances. We only use 100% pure natural essential oils that are carefully extracted from plants. And we compose our own natural fragrance blends from them.

No artificial fragrances or colorants.

Contains by nature: Limonene, Linalool, Eugenol, Cinnamal
Application

Important

Never light the candle in the protective refill cup. The refill is only intended for use in the original Looops scented candle 250 g.

It's easy to refill your 250g candle jar

Chill the refill in the freezer for about an hour. Push the new candle out of the cup and place it in your candle jar cleaned with a little washing up liquid. Wait around two hours until the wax has reached room temperature again. Always let the candle burn until the entire surface is molten.

Candle care tips

 

When you first light your candle, let it burn until the entire wax surface is molten. This prevents a wax tunnel from forming around the wick.

 


Make sure that the candle burns cleanly and gives off its fragrance evenly over the entire burning time.
- Small scented candle: Let them burn for at least one and at most three hours.
- Large scented candle: Always leave them burning for at least two hours, but no longer than four hours.
- Three wick candle: Always light all three wicks. And let them burn for a maximum of three hours.

 


To extinguish, briefly dip the wick into the liquid wax with a match. This prevents smoke and the fragrance lingers longer. Then straighten the wick again and move it to the center.

 


Each time before lighting, trim the wick to a length of about 5mm. This ensures an ideally-sized flame and your candle will burn longer.

 


The lid of your candle protects it from contamination. As a coaster, it keeps heat away from surfaces.

Handmade

Every refill candle is hand-poured in our Salzburg manufactory. This ensures the candle refill slips snugly into your Looops candle glass.


Sustainable

There’s a great way to reuse your Looops candle glass: A minimalist cardboard sleeve shields the fragrant refill in a sugarcane bagasse cup. The cup material is 100% compostable and can be reused as a nursery pot for herbs and flowers.

Frequently asked questions about refills

How does the refill work?
  1. Place the refill in the freezer for one hour before unpacking.
  2. Then squeeze the new candle out of the compostable cup and place it in your cleaned jar.
  3. Let your candle burn for the first time until the entire surface is liquid.
Can I also use the refill in another candle jar?

No, our refills are only suitable for the original Looops 250 g candle jars. They cannot burn optimally in other jars.
What is the best way to clean the candle jar?

It is best to clean your Looops candle jar by hand with warm water and a fat-soluble washing-up liquid. If the wick base does not come off by itself, pour hot water at approx. 70 °C into the jar.

The label can be easily removed with a little warm water. If you want to keep it and it comes off during cleaning, you can simply reapply it to the glass when wet.
Can the label get wet during cleaning?

Yes, the label can get wet during cleaning. If it comes off, you can simply reapply it to the glass when wet - it will stick again.
What do I do with the empty bagasse cup?

The bagasse cup is 100% compostable and is ideal for reuse as a planting cup for herbs or flowers. Alternatively, you can of course simply dispose of it in your organic waste.
