Autumn - time of transformation

Depending on the location, the four seasons in the temperate climate zone have different characteristics. Nevertheless, there is one reliable phenomenon that all regions - from Canada to Mongolia - have in common: In the fall, the days get shorter and the leaves fall from the trees to the ground.

When a leaf takes its "last breath", it emits a series of gases. This musty, earthy smell of leaves reminds our sense of smell of the transience of life. A feeling of melancholy spreads. And with it the need to let go of the old and start a new chapter in life.
