Origin of the lemon

We immediately associate the citrus fruit with Bella Italia. This is because Sicily is considered its classic growing region in the Mediterranean. The climate, volcanic soil and long periods of sunshine ensure outstanding quality. The trees, which can grow up to five meters high, bear fragrant white flowers all year round and at the same time fruit in various stages of ripeness. The oil is later pressed from their skins.

How the lemon oil for our scented candles is extracted

The unmistakably fruity and tangy lemon oil is obtained by cold pressing the yellow fruit peel. The color of the essential oil is therefore light yellow.
Short transport routes and fast processing are particularly important, as they guarantee the high quality of the lemon oil obtained. This is important so that the mood-enhancing and activating fragrance can fully unfold. And so that the beneficial aromatherapy can take full effect. 3,000 lemons yield approx. 1 liter of essential oil.
